Summer Day Camp
Summer Program for Ages 5 to 14
Since 1948, our summer child care program has served families like yours during the months of June through August. Children enjoy exploring our kid-safe farm activities with supervision from trained camp counselors stationed throughout. Horse-riding lessons, arts and crafts, archery, animal care, and more will give your child a world of unique experiences that set them up for success in life.
If your child is too young for our summer day camp, or if your 5 or 6-year-old needs more time to mature, check out our Junior Day Camp program at Real Life Nursery School.

Fall Hay Rides
Weekends in September and October
As the autumn air turns crisp, churches, families, and other groups visit our farm for fun with the animals, campfires, picnics, led horseback rides, and hay rides with friends. Real Life Farm has become a favorite annual tradition for many groups in the Canton area, so be sure to schedule your group early to ensure availability.

Spring & Fall Field Trips
Real-Life Experiences / Real-Life Learning
In the spring and fall, school classes, homeschool groups, groups of moms, and others organize field trips where children can enjoy guided horseback rides, bottle-feeding and holding baby animals, milking our cow, riding our hay ride, playing on our playground, and a picnic lunch with friends. Real Life Farm is a popular field trip spot with limited availability, so the earlier you can request a field trip date, the better.
Junior Day Camp
Summer Program for Ages 2½ to 6
Is your child too young for our camp program? Our nursery school (on the front property) has a special summer program for ages 2½ – 6. These children still enjoy our farm every day (weather permitting) but with teacher-guided group activities (rather than the free-play enjoyed by older campers). Pick-up and drop-off each day will be at the nursery school.
Because Real Life Nursery School and Real Life Farm work hand-in-hand to serve families like yours, you can conveniently manage payments and other information for multiple children in either program under one family profile.

"Are you open to the public?"
This is one of the questions we’re asked most often!
Because Real Life Farm operates as an educational farm, we are not open for daily public visits where families can simply stop by to see the animals.
All of the activities on our farm take place as part of scheduled programs and group experiences. This allows us to provide a safe, organized, and meaningful environment for the children and families who visit.
That said, there are 4 wonderful ways for your family to experience the farm throughout the year:
While we aren’t open as a walk-in attraction, we love welcoming families to experience the farm through these special programs. Many families who first visit through camp or group events return year after year as part of their family traditions.
We'd love to see you here!
